The place of inspiration:
J'ai Bistro is a bar & garden, well known among the bohemian artists in Bucharest, focused on promoting the local cultural scene. In my teen years, it was named "The Jack" and was a meeting place for metal-heads. I spent many long nights and days here, back then. In a way, the place calmed down, the same as I and others did.
Work description:
One of the first things I noticed when I came back was that people sitting at the tables were absorbed by their phones, including myself. This happened almost the hole time I was there.
With this in mind, I depicted the repetitive process of checking your phone, like a never-ending loop in a world of nonsense.
Technical details:
Posca marker on paper, 70 x 100 cm
